Treatment
Skin Tightening & Fractional RF
Radio frequency used to support firmness where skin has begun to soften.
Radio frequency warms the deeper layers of the skin to a temperature that prompts existing collagen to contract and new collagen to form. Applied over a course, it supports firmness where skin has started to soften.
How the appointment feels
Warm and steady — most people describe it as a hot stone massage rather than a treatment. A handpiece is moved continuously across the area while the surface temperature is monitored, because the useful range is narrow and holding it is the entire skill.
You can go straight back to work afterwards. There is nothing to recover from.
Fractional RF
Fractional radio frequency delivers energy in a pattern of separate columns rather than evenly across the surface, leaving untreated tissue in between. That allows a stronger stimulus at depth while the skin recovers faster, and it addresses texture alongside firmness.
What it suits, and what it does not
Radio frequency is best suited to early and moderate softening — a jawline that has lost definition, cheeks that sit lower than they did, crepey texture on the neck. It is a gradual, cumulative change that people around you tend to register before you do.
Where there is significant loose skin, radio frequency will not substitute for a surgical result, and you will be told that at consultation rather than after six appointments.
