Ageing & Loss of Firmness

Fine lines, a softening jawline and skin that no longer springs back.

Collagen production slows from the mid-twenties and the existing framework loosens with it. What you see first is usually not lines but a loss of definition — a jaw that reads less sharply, cheeks that sit slightly lower, skin that creases and takes a moment longer to settle.

What can be supported

Two things respond to treatment. The first is collagen: both microneedling and radio frequency prompt the skin to produce new collagen, which improves firmness and the appearance of fine lines over a course of several months.

The second is surface quality. Much of what reads as older skin is texture, dullness and accumulated sun damage rather than structure — and that responds faster than the structural work does.

A realistic plan

Radio frequency for firmness, run weekly over six to eight sessions. Microneedling for texture and fine lines, monthly over three to six. Resurfacing where sun damage is part of the picture. Then maintenance every few months, because this is a slope rather than an event.

Change is gradual and cumulative. Comparing photographs three months apart shows what a daily mirror cannot.

What is not offered here

Carvalho Aesthetics does not perform injectable or medical procedures of any kind. The work here is advanced skincare — improving the quality, texture and firmness of the skin itself.

If your concern is one that skincare cannot address, you will be told that plainly rather than sold a course of something adjacent.
